ROFL...3 more of my conservative friends unfriended me on Facebook yesterday because I am an unapologetic Hillary supporter.

That makes nearly 10 in the past month.

What a bunch of babies!
 
that's pretty bad..FB does not lend itself well to serious discourse ( too many bogus images)..and really I don't want to go toe to toe with friends
 
Zappa, so "unapologetic Hillary supporter(s)" and unapologetic Trump supporters are babies? Guess all of us will be wearing our Pampers on voting day. I don't know how much longer we will have freedom of choice in this country...let's enjoy it while we can.
 
Not surprising based on where I grew up by my Facebook feed is about 90% liberal. I've seen a handful of group liberal posts where they say "if you support Trump defriend me now" as well as then talking about defriendinf people they saw supporting Trump.

To each his own who they want to friend on Facebook but doesn't say much IMO when people can't stand hearing differing opinions. With that being said there are those who freaking annoying with continual political posts that you just get tired of it even if it's something you agree with

No, people who unfriend lifelong friends over a silly election are thin skinned crybabies.

I also have numerous friends who are unapologetic Trump supporters who don't get all butt hurt when I comment on their posts and vice versa.
 
If Zipperhead acts on FB like he acts here can you blame them. Like a petulant child Zipperhead wears it with pride. What a major douche. No wonder his daughter wants me to be her daddy
 
Zappa, I forget that this is a new age. Forgive me, I'm old. Facebook co-opted the word 'friend'. Invisible, faceless, voiceless, uncommitted people are not friends. They are acquaintances...sort of like the old fashioned term 'pen pals'.

It's in our nature to associate with those of like-mindedness more than with those with whom we have a heated disagreement. Some choose the peaceful path of simply walking away from negative interaction or drama while others might throw themselves headlong into the fray. Still others find a happy medium and choose their battles wisely.

I've got an uncle that is very pro Trump, well really he's more anti-Hillary, but I don't unfriend him. I like to see the arguments of those different from me. Sort of a "know your enemy" kind of thing.

I've got one particular friend, he has posted at least one anti-Hillary meme every single day since it became clear it was Hillary vs Trump in the general election.

I don't hold it against him.

I tease him sometimes but we still get along because he's not just another thin skinned crybaby like so many Righties here at JPP.

I typically bite my tongue and scroll when my liberal friends post stuff.

Every time there's something to do with Zimmerman, the liberals post comments about him needing to be killed, he's a murderer, etc and when their comments are challenged; they immediately go to the race card, make KKK references, and just begin making derogatory comments.

I just laugh at their attempts and comment on how it appears that they want free speech curtailed, unless it agrees with them. :D

I've actually had two of them delete the threads they started; because their responses became so vile. LOL
