As one of my econ professors one time said when a male student made a derogatory comment about women - "Look around the room. The women you see here? There's a good chance they will be your boss someday"

Women make up half the population. You will be dealing with them in your work life, in the marketplace, in govt offices, etc. I have no idea how old you are. But if you can't treat half of the population with respect -if you hold on to these nasty ideas - you are going to have a very hard go through life.

Maybe you've already had a 'hard go'. Maybe your nastiness has already caused you problems at work, at home, or wherever. But that's not a reason to get nastier.
