They are not building a base in America, they are paying to add some (how much and what we are not told) infrastructure to one of our bases. The story was supposed to be that they are investing in America, but Hegseth fucked it up.

Our military budget is one of the most bloated on the planet. They take money from cancer and dementia research to fund our military.

Training is one thing. Building a facility is another.

I’m not comfortable arming ANYONE in that part of the world. To me, Qatar is Saudi Arabia light.
