They are not building a base in America, they are paying to add some (how much and what we are not told) infrastructure to one of our bases. The story was supposed to be that they are investing in America, but Hegseth fucked it up.

They are still building a facility on one of our Air Force bases and why is that necessary?

Our military budget is one of the most bloated on the planet. They take money from cancer and dementia research to fund our military.

Its not necessary but the Trump people are out selling a story that we are offloading the cost of empire to our vassals.

and what about Chinese police operating in the U.S.?

Chinese police have been reported to operate illegal overseas police stations in the United States, specifically in New York City, where they allegedly monitored and intimidated Chinese dissidents. These operations have raised significant concerns about violations of U.S. sovereignty and the rights of individuals living in the country. U.S. Department of Justice Wikipedia

Overview of Chinese Police Operations in the U.S.

Chinese police have been involved in controversial activities within the United States, primarily through the establishment of overseas police stations. These operations have raised significant concerns regarding sovereignty and the safety of Chinese nationals living abroad.

Secret Police Stations

Purpose and Activities

  • Establishment: The first known secret police station in the U.S. was opened in early 2022 in Manhattan's Chinatown.
  • Functions: While these stations claim to provide administrative services, such as renewing driver's licenses, they have also been accused of monitoring and intimidating pro-democracy activists.
  • Global Context: Reports indicate that over 100 such stations exist worldwide, with allegations of them being used to threaten Chinese nationals abroad.

Legal Actions

  • Guilty Pleas: In December 2024, Chen Jinping pleaded guilty to operating this illegal police station, admitting to conspiring as an agent of the Chinese government.
  • Ongoing Investigations: Co-defendant Lu Jianwang has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial. Both individuals were charged with obstructing justice by destroying evidence related to their communications with Chinese officials.

U.S. Government Response

  • Condemnation: U.S. officials have condemned these operations as violations of American sovereignty. They emphasize the need to protect the rights of individuals against foreign repression.
  • Law Enforcement Actions: The FBI has actively investigated these stations, leading to arrests and ongoing scrutiny of similar operations globally.

Conclusion

The presence of Chinese police operations in the U.S. highlights significant geopolitical tensions and raises serious concerns about the safety and rights of Chinese nationals living in America. The U.S. government continues to address these issues through legal and diplomatic channels.

I don’t support the Chinese having police stations in our country, either.

You are correct on that. It will not be owned by Qatar. Singapore has a similar situation at MHAFB.
A part of countries buying our gear is that we usually train them up in America, and they tend to pay for that training. The Trump people were trying to play up that Qatar pays, and they fucked it up.

They should have said nothing.

Exactly. Many of the posters here at JPP are imbeciles who care nothing of the truth whatsoever. Their main job is to function on disinformation instead of actual INFORMATION. As if the posters here at this small political message board could ever have any effect on election cycles.

Training is one thing. Building a facility is another.

I’m not comfortable arming ANYONE in that part of the world. To me, Qatar is Saudi Arabia light.
