It is. There are a few states that banned Quaker parrots, because they can survive northern winters. Brooklyn has at least one colony of them. They live in large groups and are the only parrot species that builds nests. The nests are ginormous and consist of individual family units. They often build them on top of transformers and large outdoor light standards -- for the warmth, maybe? Needless to say, sticks and birds + transformers = danger. In Texas they are constantly tearing the nests down. They will eat at wild bird feeders, but domestic crops are not in danger. Mostly their diet is seeds and insects, and sometimes fruit. They are small birds, about the size of an American robin.

While I think this is another example of political correctness gone too far, I support the right of private organizations such as the AOS to do whatever the fuck they want.

Additionally, I'm against the Trumpian idiots who keep seeking to weaponize the Federal government to limit private citizens, private organizations and the States is doing what is their right to do. Fuck all Nazis D-E-A-D.
