You can't pander to someone that doesn't expect a politician to give him anything. Tell me what I want Donald Trump to provide me? Hillary and Bernie both have said they support the college tuition idea. That's pandering because it's providing something someone is unwilling to provide themselves.

I'm suggesting that, as a proportion to their percentage in society, far more blacks can't afford their own stuff than whites. I'll need you to do something and I'll use your numbers to do the calculations provided they are realistic.
1) How many people are on food stamps total?
2) What is the population of the U.S.?
3) What percentage do whites make up of the total population? Blacks?
4) What percentage of whites are on food stamps? Blacks?
Raw data, and I've seen the percentages for #4, tell nothing. When you compare them on an equal footing, meaning as a proportion, the true story can be told.

When someone supports the idea that the taxpayers should provide to him/her what he/she should be providing themselves, that is unwilling to do for yourself. When someone demands taxpayers provide them a means with which to buy food, pay rent, purchase clothes, feed their kids, etc., that's an indication of unwillingness to do for yourself. What's worse is those doing the demanding aren't paying the taxes that fund what they demand. When someone supports the concept of having taxpayers provide to their kids in the way of tuition what they are unwilling to do for their own kids, that's demanding. It's not a generalization when it occurs on such a wide scale.
