You believe in the god and the religion your parents taught you. It is rare for someone to be religious without training from childhood. All religions get children young and train the shit out of them, because it works so well. What kid has a knowledge base to fend off religious dogma. You trust your parents and the community since they are respponsible for your life. It should be against the law. You should make your own decision as an adult.
