There IS hysteria, but if there was every warranted hysteria, this is it.

I guess we need to clarify the meaning of scandal. A person not accepting a job is not a scandal, the Flynn ordeal is a scandal, nominees withdrawing aren't scandals in my opinion and from my understanding of the word, scandal.
 
What should the U.S. do if it turns out Trump is not mentally fit for the U.S. presidency?

I wouldn't expect him to turn insane the first month in office.

But former presidents have long attested to what it's like when the bubble bursts.

Before then, how much longer will Trump skate along on his emoluments clause issues? Are we just going to ignore it for 4 years?

I don't know why Republicans want to
keep him, they can get a lot more done with Pence in the seat.

Something I've learned about human observation, behavior assessment:

If Bryce is watching Gary, and Bryce can't figure out what the $#@! Gary is doing, and Bryce says:

then chances are Bryce is an idiot.

I wouldn't observe what you have in #51, and conclude; I don't understand it, so THEY are idiots.

They don't want that. They want what they think Trump will do; which is kind of sad.

At the 1:PM/ET top of the hour radio news I heard a report that there's a political kerfuffle in Florida. Trump reportedly has threatened to withhold federal funds from sanctuary cities, if those cities don't comply with federal laws.

Ironically, this Republican party of "family values" may be breaking up a lot of families this way. How sad. I wish I knew what it is they think they're going to gain.
