Wish I shared your optimism lol.

These crowds are historic though and it means something. Someone is going to take up the mantle even if Trump loses. And the someone isn’t going to be vulnerable on his/her personality or style of leadership.

Win lose or draw, we are on the cusp of a new era.

I took it as part fantasy, part bullshit. The first Terminator movie famously ended with a gas station attendant telling Sarah Connor "A storm is coming". She says "I know" referencing the future nuclear devastation by Skynet, not the weather.

The OP link doesn't mention storm. It's "Red sky in morning, sailor take warning. Red sky at night, sailor's delight". The article was about red sky at night. Ergo, no storm.
 
Going to be a whole lot less Dems posting in here after tonight. THATS for sure. :laugh: Forced go flee in disgrace. Heres the thing though........ we will need to welcome them back into the fold and move forward. The whole country needs to. This can be a teachable moment for us all if we are smart enuff to not let ego get into the way.

tonight expect cnn and other mediates to call it the Red mirage

they have the talking points - they see the same exit results. they just hope mail in ballots over the next few days is the salvation, because they agree, this is not looking well for them

Ill be here either way, and Ill be happy with my life either way. The election is not going to change that for me. I already know we have a terrible cancer in this nation with what the Republican party has become, and this election is not going to change that. 35-40% of our populace are deplorable.

I’m just glad people are voting. Americans are terrible at exercising their right to vote.
