to be fair, he hasn't spent his entire life studying Islam....I wouldn't expect him to be an expert on anything except Buddhism.......thinking he's an expert on Islam is like thinking an atheist is an expert on Christianity.....

what they value the most about being islamic is it gives them political camoflauge. They use the rest of the muslims as human shields. What I would like is to let the islamic tag stick on them so the rest of the "moderates" leave islam and the harmful religion is gone for good.

The latter will never happen but you bring up a good point: by going along with the charade that the radicals aren't part of Islam allows the moderates to not do anything about it.

If the radicals aren't part of Islam, then Islam has no problem.
