The world’s “greatest Governor” at it again

"In his efforts to remake higher education in Florida, Gov. Ron DeSantis has signed laws that alter the tenure system"

"Alter the tenure system" is lawyer-speak for cosmetic changes to dupe the barely educated MAGA base into believing he is sticking it to the libs

Desantis isn't going to risk running the state's best geneticists and engineering professors out of the state university system.

"Alter the tenure system" means eliminating it. It IS sticking it to the libs.
The State's best geneticists and engineers are not in universities. They are in business, producing products and services for people.

“Give me somebody that served eight years in the Navy or the Marine Corps. That education is going to be much more beneficial and pertinent than someone that went $100,000 in debt to get a degree in zombie studies,” DeSantis said.”

What a fucking asshole. No one gets a degree in "zombie studies" from anywhere; and higher education is just as useful as military service. As we all know, however, Republicans despise educated people because none of them are.

Bigotry. Compositional error fallacy. A degree in zombie studies is a colloquial term for a useless degree. Not all degrees in higher education are useless.

So?

So he is eliminating racism and bigotry from universities. Good.

So he is eliminating racism and bigotry from universities as a curriculum. Good.

Good.

He's right.

Racism isn't freedom. Bigotry isn't freedom.

Neither racism nor bigotry are a well rounded education. They aren't even education at all. They are fallacies.

That's scary to you, isn't it??

So...you want to implement State dictated curriculum to prevent a State dictated curriculum. Gotit. You are locked in paradox again, idiot. You are being irrational.

There is no such thing.

His policies are not determined by academics. Haven't you figured that out yet???????!?

He isn't. He's only quashing the racism and bigotry. They are free to criticize him for it, and are doing so, according to you. You have locked yourself in another paradox here as well. You are being quite irrational.

Neither of them are in Florida. They should be, since they would both be affected by the same ruling. No more racism and more bigotry. Not even the racism and bigotry at Yale and Harvard. Of course, these plans only affects Florida universities. He can't do anything about these problems at Yale or Harvard...yet.

Lets break it down even further for "birdie, " appears "copy" is collating pseudonyms

No

No

Wrong

Wrong

Irrelevant

Hardly

Incorrect

Wrong again

And once again

Yet he made the effort and paid the costs to go there

Read this honey bunch, and admit you know shit:

Most states protect teachers in public schools from arbitrary dismissal through tenure statutes. Under these tenure statutes, once a teacher has attained tenure, his or her contract renews automatically each year. School districts may dismiss tenured teachers only by a showing of cause, after following such procedural requirements as providing notice to the teacher, specifying the charges against the teacher, and providing the teacher with a meaningful hearing. Most tenure statutes require teachers to remain employed during a probationary period for a certain number of years. Once this probationary period has ended, teachers in some states will earn tenure automatically. In other states, the local school board must take some action to grant tenure to the teacher, often at the conclusion of a review of the teacher's performance. Tenure also provides some protection for teachers against demotion, salary reductions, and other discipline. However, tenure does not guarantee that a teacher may retain a particular position, such as a coaching position, nor does it provide indefinite employment.

Why, Disney moving some it’s’ industries out doesn’t both him, DeSantis, like his fellow Floridian, only thinks on how it effects DeSantis, and damage to the State’s Universities wouldn’t be felt before this November

Disney fucked itself. It has only itself to blame.

What damage?????

So you admit my argument is correct. Thank you for reinforcing it.
Tenure should be eliminated.

Absolutely not, you cant even find anything to back up your BS my dear. The University and only they determin their own curriculum.

Nope. State universities can have curriculum determined by the owner of that university...the State. That means the governor has a say, dumbass.
The same is true for State grade schools.

Why are you defending racism and bigotry?????!?
