The sad thing is that it works on the fucking MAGATs. Have you seen their posts praising DeSantis and his ugly little stunt? Even a more rational conservative like Eagle Eye thought it was great.

Hope you're right and that this will drive the Latinx voters away. I'm not so sure though. Some of the most virulent anti-illegal-immigrant voters are those who became a citizen recently through legal methods.

Of course it works with the MAGA militia, any tweet or talking head bloviating telling them they are right in what they want to believe is true works on them, reason why so many of the pimps are millionaires
