The US healthcare system is seriously taking the piss

The system is so expensive largely because so many unnecessary tests are ordered by doctors, mainly to cover their arses against malpractice.

Stop the frivolous lawsuits disguised as malpractice claims.

It has gotten a lot better because of the rules laid out in the ACA. People aren’t aware of the other aspects of this law.

Better for whom, all those freeloaders getting a handout through a subsidy to provide to them what they refused to provide to themselves? That's not better. It creates more freeloaders.

Whining? You can't even get your titles to match the citation you offer?
There was a joke in there, but being a Septic you probably missed it. Anyway, any danger you might actually discuss the post rather than just gnawing at the edges as is your wont.

I did discuss healthcare. You didn't.

Who among us cannot afford this care? A huge percentage of our population!

As has been pointed out many, many times. It is because of the government being involved.

There is no activity in which the government gets involved that does not become more expensive. Healthcare is no exception

Get a life, private insurers have been fucking us for years prior to the ACA, and you just bend over and take it. Do you recall that prior to the ACA an insurer could write off up to 40% of every premium dollar as "overhead"?
For them its always profits over people.
