Now we know what Trump's half cocked decision to kill an Iranian general cost so far.

It costs the lives of 176 Canadians and Ukrainians. It risked a full war with Iran, it did not get back any of Iran's money that we froze,
and did not buy acquisition or anything of material value whatsoever. It did not supply stability, in fact quite the contrary, it has destabilized the region.
It did not result in regime change, and it caused Iran to reinvigorate its nuclear weapons program.

On the plus side we killed a bad actor who will of course be readily replaced to resume asymmetrical attacks against
western interests without a hiccup.
