Liar.
First, the invasion was approved by Congress, so the "illegal" label has been a lie from day one. (but you progressive liberals can't help but repeat your lies, even when they are outed.)
It was "illegal" because Bush lied. Can't you grasp that? Look, self defense is legal. If you tell the cops the guy came at you with a knife and you shot him that would be legal. If you LIED and said the guy came at you but he didn’t it would be illegal even if the cops believed you.
Bush manipulated the evidence. Even Colin Powell was lied to, not given all the evidence.
And, don't forget: the costs of the Iraq war are still mounting, including deaths of U.S. soldiers, 2.5 years after your Savior took over, and a year after "combat operations are ended". So anything over the 700 billion mark is all on the heads of your political masters. I objected to our presence in Iraq under Bush, and I continue to object to it now, especially under the lie that combat operations are supposedly over, yet soldiers are still over there dying in combat situations.
Again, you have difficulty grasping the situation. When the invasion started citizens of Iraq chose sides after being told the US would stay there to protect them. Once turning against the rulers of Iraq they became traitors.
Furthermore, the police and military were disbanded. The US had to stay to provide order. That was the consequences of Bush’s incompetent actions. One can not simply leave. Obama and the Dems have to clean up the colossal mess made by Bush and the Repubs.
But, note the support of my earlier post. "Bush this, Bush that" whiny lying bullshit all fucking day long. No plans for getting us out of the current economic mess, just the usual "TAX and SPEND!!!" mantra the liberals have been spouting for 100 years, whether the economy is in good shape or bad, it always the same TAX and SPEND. The only thing that has changed is who they choose to blame for their own lack of success in handling the economy.
Yes, it is "Bush this, Bush that". Bush starting “this” war. Bush cutting “that” tax. When Rumsfeld said war with Iraq was an option they could afford was he referring to the 40 million citizens who couldn’t afford medical insurance?
The whiny babies are the Repubs who supported Bush and his destructive policies and are now paying the price. The Dems realize it’s gong to take time to repair the damage caused by 8 years of incompetence bordering on the criminal.
At least Obama has put in place a medical plan that will help alleviate some of the hopelessness experienced by those who, supposedly, had plenty of money to start a war to realizing they have no job, no collateral in their home and no medical insurance.
The legacy of the Bush years.
