Yep I locked in some high interest CDs 4 months ago. I have some funds that I will be reinvesting in the market soon. I'll be buying some Tesla stock among other things.

I wouldn't touch Tesla for a while. There are a few pipeline stocks with nice dividends for 1/8 the price. I'm still holding bonds at over 5% and a tax free bond fund paying more than 7%.
Seems like a paltry return, until days like today.
I'm buying Tesla stock for two reasons. One its for growth and the other is to support Elon because we SHOULD eliminate waste and fraud. At least he is trying to do it. If Elon can risk his fortune then so can I. You make a good point about pipeline stocks though. I'll look into some.

Making investment decisions based upon emotions is a bad idea. If Musk really wanted to get rid of waste he would peruse his own multi million dollar Fed contracts, and repay some of the billions he has gotten in grants.
With no dividend, it's pretty hard to see growth from Tesla unless you're investing tens of thousands of dollars. Quite frankly, I believe Tesla shit the bed. And Musk cannot be trusted not to raid the coffers for moronic projects like the purchase of Twitter. Something he had no intention of doing, but was forced to after manipulating the stock price with his rhetoric.
People are flocking to numerous other EV brands because Musk is toxic. Keep us posted with your growth results.
I recommend products made in the USA that are on the downside, these especially will not stay down, tariffs will not affect them negatively, and they won't be held back for long.
I also like going for GLD at any time that inflation may rise again.
