Pedo Don wants to put the Epstein Files behind him. To do that, he needs Ghislaine to perjure herself. I doubt she'd do it unless granted a pardon within a year.

Yes, him pardoning her would look bad and further divide the MAGAts, but, like all JPP MAGAts, he only sees what he wants to see.
 
Trump was great friends with Ghislaine. She was Epstein's partner in crime. She was supplying daffy Donald and Jeff with underage pretty blonds who reminded him of Ivanaka.
She, as part of a child sexual abusing group, did not qualify for moving to a minimum security prison. Bondi gave that to her as the first payment for the "proper testimony". She is now learning her script.
Trump said he has the right to pardon her. That is not quite correct. He has the power to do it. In no world is it the right thing to do.

The reason i do not see it happen before Trump leaves office is because if the Dems take the House or Senate at midterms and she is already pardoned they can force her testify under oath and she will not be able to take the 5th.

People who get pardons and escape their crimes see no benefit in then perjuring themselves and risking going back to jail, when all they have to do is give all their information truthfully, and then no matter how bad, they are still free and clear of any indictment.

So while i agree with you, that Trump had his criminal lawyer let her know what the path is for a pardon (in 2028) in a very Zelensky 'perfect phone call' type way, and which Dem's he needed her to provide dirt on and what she needed to say exonerate Trump, and Trump will expect her to do that in the next year, it will be tied to a pardon at the end of his term, imo.

A good possibility and thought. Still, Trump only sees what he wants to see. He truly believes he's the smartest man in the room and will do as he pleases. If anyone disagrees he usually fires them or sues them. He'll pardon Ghislaine for her testimony before November 2026.

I would take a friendly bet.

The most likely perjury would come at questions based on what the discussions she had with Trumps lawyer Todd Blanche was plus other big donors to the GOP Trump would not want disclosed.

If she did not disclose all and it got out, she would risk prosecution by the next admin. I, myself, believe any such prosecution would be very low probability but she has a good lawyer and he would simply tell her 'you are pardoned and have zero reason to lie about anything even if you think you will not get caught. Why risk it as you are free now and the only way you go back to jail is by opening the door with a lie'.


If i was her lawyer (the lawyer for any pardoned person) my advice would be, you got a miracle break with the pardon, don't screw it and go back to jail by lying for others when telling the truth does you zero harm and you stay free.

The question being 'why would she care to lie for any of them, and accept any risk, when she is free with no risk if she does not'.

Todd Blanche's mission was: "Buy her silence". The criminal thing about it was, Blanch is supposed to be protecting the victims, not the rapists. But - that's trumpism.

And i love seeing these extreme examples that prove Magats have zero principles. Not a single one. Other than 'if Trump does it, it is ok'.

For years they pretended one of the highest priorities for them was root out groomers and pedophiles. This was something they were passionate about because children must be protected.

NOw, faced with one of America's biggest pedophile teams in history all Magats could care less. They would let pedophiles go free clinging to an irrational argument of 'if no one cared during Biden's presidency then no one, including us should care now, let this one go'.

All true, unfortunately. I saw a podcast with Chuck Todd and Tim Miller last night. Todd made a prediction that the Epstein crisis (self-imposed) by trump won't be his undoing - it'll be his mismanagement of the economy.

ya i agree with that.

But i would not underestimate that this Epstein handling could make a large percent of the Bro vote stay home also and while they are not a big voting block they were key to Trumps very tight and narrow win. The Bro's were not motivated to get out and vote on the economy, the last time. It was all the rage bait and deep State stuff they thought Trump was going fix and expose, so they might just stay home next time.
