What many Republicans don't understand, some on this site, is that when the Republicans are successful in suppressing the vote, thus, seizing total power, the voters' needs will be a distant memory.

When power is totally ceded to a MAGA, they'll give a shit about their responsibilities to anyone who can't do them favors. The blue-collar worker? HA! Sorry! You lose, you're useless to people in power.

It surprises me that their perceived fear of "losing their freedom" might actually cause them to do just that!

I have faith both the nation and American culture will survive. Still, it doesn't hurt to arm oneself should a local event happen. Most of that stuff happens downtown, leaving local authorities to fix.

Two years from tomorrow at the next election, I'm taking bets that the White Nationalists won't kill more than 500 Americans. Even McVeigh couldn't kill over 200, and that's with 500 injuries. They did murder 19 kids, but that was part of the plan. He set it off during working hours on a weekday.

Even if it was a weekend, a WSE attack would still kill all the weekend workers and staff.

IMO, Americans are tired. Most understand and accept the problems but, unlike the Euro-American geezers supporting political violence, are too busy working with their families to bitch and whine on the Internet. Notice not a single current RW JPP member went to 1/6. I find that hilariously amusing. LOL

True examples of "All Hat, No Cattle". Still, I think most of them are hoping they can convince one or two suckers to do what they are proposing and use political violence. The fun for me is to convince them they are wrong. LOL

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) released a new campaign ad on Friday ahead of Election Day that depicts him as a “fighter” for God.

DeSantis’s wife, Casey, posted the ad on her Twitter account, saying to her husband, “On behalf of millions of people, never stop fighting for freedom.”

The narrator’s lines in the ad appear to be based on a speech that radio broadcaster Paul Harvey gave in 1978, entitled “So God Made a Farmer.”

“And on the eighth day, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, ‘I need a protector.’ So God made a fighter,” DeSantis’s ad begins.

The ad shows pictures of DeSantis meeting with officials and civilians while serving as governor. It describes a series of traits God “said” he needs in someone, including a willingness to “travel thousands of miles for no other reason than to serve the people, to save their jobs, their livelihoods, their liberty, their happiness.”

The narrator’s description of each trait ends with him saying, “So God made a fighter.”
