I'm the same way. Trump is a deal breaker for me. A person cannot support him and also be good.

Well, don't say, "tea party" because the GOP losers ruined that word for us. I prefer to call the upcoming GOP presidential primary as a flaming, poop-covered, school bus full of clowns.

I actually thought that when I was typing and then thought, "I'm taking that term back from them." It's not like it got them anywhere except headed on the path to anti-American insanity.

I tried that. Unfortunately, most MAGA types aren't exactly subtle about what kind of people they are. It extends far beyond politics. I don't even talk to some people in my own family anymore. It's sad, but I can't handle that level of stupidity, dishonesty, and cruelty.

Yeah, it's hard to thread that needle. The good thing is, I think the GOP is finally coming to terms that "trumpism", that is, the tearing down of our institutions and scapegoating minorities is losing its appeal to the greater GOP electorate. I think we can all coexist with "normal", or "classic Republicans" once their crack wears off.

Especially after they sold their souls to the altar of Trump and are now struggling just to take back the House. Trump destroys everything he touches. It's a shame the Republicans took seven years to learn that.
