Repeal and replace Obamacare. This has to be one of the first, and the most important, things that republicans work on. With confirming a constitutionalist to the SCOTUS....
I believe that this is actually the one promise they will fulfill.
I'm curious, though - what do you (and others) think it will be replaced with? When Trump was asked during the campaign, he only promised that it would be "universal healthcare." When the interviewer asked him who would pay for that, he replied that the government would.
Trump can only propose legislation and/or sign it into law so congress will play a part in repeal/replace.
It's anyone's guess with what, but the current system is 'crazy' as Bill Clinton said.

Repealing yes but wouldn't replacing it imply a new federal program? Shouldn't it just simply be repealed and then get rid of any regulations that limit choice and competition state by state?

It needs to be universal -real UNIVERSAL health care. The only way I see that happening is Single Pay

You can have "universal healthcare" without the government paying the bill. You see, you operate from the premise that healthcare should be paid for by someone else.
This is what I see as a viable, free market plan that would reduce costs and make healthcare accessible to EVERY American
1) Repeal every aspect of Obamacare
2) Eliminate employer based health insurance
3) Sell medical insurance like we sell auto insurance where you can buy across state lines eliminating monopolies and driving down costs
4) Make medical insurance like your home owners insurance. Insure against catastrophic events and pay cash for everything else. Stop insuring things like lab test, drugs, routine doctor appointments etc.
Costs will be reduced and access will be increased.

Why get rid of employee based health insurance?
