That you choose not exercise your right to own a gun is fine. But don't presume to tell anyone what you will take away.
 
I own multiple guns. I have NEVER shot someone, gone to a mall and opened fire etc. I have a concealed carry licence. If someone walks into a theater I am in with the intent of killing people I will put an end to his intent. Those of us that carry are all that stand between you and death.

The theater, being in what we've affectionately called murder mall for a good decade or more, is a "gun free" zone, they have signs and everything. Apparently the good guys paid attention to the signs.

Maybe the shooter didn't see the signs? He did come in the emergency exit. Maybe if there had been a sign outside the theater he would have gone back home?

How is it possible for someone to buy a MP-15 with a 100 round magazine? If that gun hadn't jammed he could have killed hundreds of people.

Clearly. I mean if only they had put up more signs he would have known he couldn't go in there with three of them.
 
To me it's not about the individuals legally owning guns, it's about guns that are designed to kill hundreds within min's being mass produced and sold to the general public.
 
TO use a car it must be registered. To drive you must have a liscence. If you lend your car, in Florida and many states, to someone and they injure someone, you are responsable. You can lose your liscence if you do not drive responsability or are convicted of a drug offence. You must be 16 to have a liscence. Many cars are not street legal and to produce a car it must pass safety requirements that make it safer.

Regulations need to be put on the manufacture and importation of Automatic Weapons.

People are still killed by car accidents every day, but the government can and does promote responsable useage. That can be done with guns.

And yet death by auto still happens....Now why would that be? With such stringent regulation and all...Heck, some auto's in this nation are even used to kill intentionally....Imagine that....

Look, The nut in the movie theater didn't have to use guns, it could have been bombs from any number of easily obtainable things from the local hardware store..Should we ban all those things too?

The knee jerk reaction to ban things is so boring, and it is clear that even by Jay Carney's words when he stated that "no new gun legislation is in the offing" shows that it is a losing proposition for demo's to take this on at this time....

So libs can bitch all they want, nothing is changing.
