In being totally honest, although I am a supporter of the wall
that being said.

I can't see why the Democrats, from their point of view don't just give Trump his wall. It's not much money in the grand scheme,

seems like the most likely chance for victory in 2020 for them would be for the border wall to go wrong, or not do any good like they are claiming.
Otherwise the Trump base, is not going to go into the election believing anything but the Democrats are obstructing the wall.
The hope on the left is that they can claim trump broke his promise I guess, which will have no effect whatsoever.
And their base is still going to vote NO TRUMP irregardless.

Not wanting border security is a risky strategy for them, doesn't make sense.
