The Secular Case Against Gay Marriage

The issue here is that gays have a higher percentage of pedophilia relative to the hetero population. Its your position that pedos don't care what sex their victim is. For that to be true, they shouldn't be able to tell the difference between a sausage and a clam. Since you claim that you know the difference, then why shouldn't a pedo?

So in order for them to be willing to molest either gender they must not be able to tell the difference? That is your claim?

The entire thread screams about whether gays should be allowed to marry. The only time children came into it was when SM tried his tired old argument based on "research" done by a lunatic with an agenda who has been debunked and shunned by everyone in the field. If someone is a pedophile, they should be prosecuted. If pedophiles are not to be allowed to marry, then all pedophiles should not be allowed to marry. But that still does not have any relevance to the topic.

They are not allowed to marry the consenting adult that they love. They are not allowed to have the same benefits that straight couples get.

The government makes no laws concerning "love".....none at all.....
Homos couples have the same rights as any married couple......you and Rosie would have the same rights as Lucy and Desi....

No, that is not what I said at all. Repeating a strawman argument does not make it a legitimate argument.

I did not say that a straight man gets it up at the sight of a sausage. I said a pedophile gets it up at the sight of a child. I said that a fixated pedophile is not gay or straight but fixated on children.

In essence, the State is continuing to disenfranchise a group of individuals (homosexuals) when the need to do so is no longer necessary.

This would also be a great arvument against inter-racial marriage, which was imposed on many states by the federal courts.

Just as we can say some people are born with a proclivity to steal or hurt others or torture animals or kill for the thrill or abuse children.....do we excuse those things because they are born with those desires ?

All these things, just as with sexual desires, are controllable by self restraint, its not even close to being another race....its like redefining a mule as a type of human so your mama can legally marry the jackass.....

But in the end, you pinheads will probably get your own way as we descend more and more into anarchy....( the absence of any guiding or uniting principle; disorder; chaos)
