The Rise of China

So why haven't Americans opened industrial plants?
This article gives a pretty decent explanation for starters:

http://dailycaller.com/2011/09/16/the-american-jobs-act-wont-create-jobs-it-will-destroy-them/

Also, if you are going to be all for capitalism, then you need to be for the capitalism that has investors opening businesses here, regardless of where the owners live.
I'm all for investors keeping the jobs here, but you have to give them incentives to stay. You assholes are doing the exact opposite.

We assholes? Have I voted for a politician that is anti-business? Have I voted for a politician who has worked to remove incentives or punish businesses? Try and stick with the actual facts instead of waving your ignorance around like a banner.

Look over the threads that discussed taxation and see which of us make the point that businesses do not pay business tax. Look over those same threads and see who has spoken out in favor of the Fair tax Act over and over.

Maybe you should quit while you have only made a small fool of yourself.

Please point out the policies that handicap the American investors, but do not put the same handicaps on Chinese investors?

Also, I did get a chuckle out of one line from the linked article. "Rather than reconsider their policies, they blame job creators and, of course, George W. Bush (never mind that they inherited a 4.5% unemployment rate and a growing economy in November 2006)."

Perhaps the author didn't know that Obama didn't take office until January of '09? And the unemployment rate when he was sworn in was 7.8%, and rose to 8.3% by the end of Feb '09? When they write lies like that, its hard to take them seriously.

Dude, you are constantly in my face on multiple points. You are not pro-business, and you're certainly not a conservative. No one should ever have to question where I stand, as my lines are ALWAYS clear; are yours? Perhaps you should take a step back and give yourself a good political self examination.

Yeah, you have some pretty clear lines of hate...er politics.

Look, I don't follow party lines. I follow what I think is right. Where have I made statements that are not pro-business? I'm sure you had rather have nice clear lines of liberal and conservative so you can see who to hate. But people do not, and should not, fit into those nice neat packages.

I am a fiscal conservative. I am not a social conservative. If you know the difference you should be able to workout my stance on most isues.

We're not talking about Chinese investors. We're talking about finding incentives to keep American employers in America.

You've got to quote more than that, liberal. You only pasted the very last part. The author was talking from the point that the House and Senate were taken over by your heroes on the Left. Stop breaking shit up and spinning it to your advantage. Your dishonesty stinks.

Right, my dishonesty stinks. lmao

The conversation was about why Americans weren't building industrial plants and the Chinese were. You gave that link as an excuse. But if there is not some limitation on American investors that the Chinese do not have, you did not answer the question.

Typical Leftist rhetoric.

OK, lets talk about where you stand fiscally.

1. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how would you rate Obama's handling of the economy?
2. Are the rich paying enough in taxes?
3. Yes or no. Does the US Government spend too much money?
4. Are they spending enough?
5. How many taxes does America currently have, and is that enough taxes?

Oh, a test to prove myself a conservative? lmao

The taxes we pay are completely out of line. Put a 23% Consumption tax on all new goods and services (and make all money spent, up to the poverty level, tax free) and it would give us more tax revenue, stop tax evasion (or at least limit it hugely), remove the need for us to spend $500 billion on tax compliance, and create the most business friendly environment on the planet.

Of course the gov't spends too much money. It spends more than it takes in. That is lunacy.

Change the entire tax system over to the Fair Tax system and there would basically only be one tax, everyone would pay it, no one would pay tax on monies spent up to the poverty level, we wouldn't waste $500 billion annually on compliance, there would be no taxation of special areas (so it would be more equal) and the IRS could no longer be used to punish political enemies.

Oh, and I have criticized Obama numerous times on his handling of the economy. But I don't think Mitt is an improvement.

I like it, WB, and I'm surprised. All you have to do now, is get on board socially, and you'll be just fine.

Oh, and pull your head out of China's ass. ;)

The point has already been made, you are just playing silly buggers pretending that you don't know what it is.

He is not 'playing' silly buggers. He is the 'arch' silly bugger who thinks his dribbling, tongue lolling sense of humour makes him popular. In fact he is an extremely immature man of middle or late middle age who still rides motorbikes and thinks it is cool, who still follows an amateur band around in a van, doubtless trying to be part of a 'scene' - or hoping to get laid. He has had a sad life, is almost totally uneducated (unable to spell 'gated') but cannot face the fact that all his problems are of his own making.
Typical small town america. Probably doesn't even have a passport. A little big shot.

No, now all I have to do is continue to argue with people like you who claim to be conservative but want the gov't involved in these social issues that you choose.

My head is not up China's ass. All I want is a level playing field. Competition makes us all better. And if we can't compete, we don't deserve to be on top.
