The RINO Plan To Ban Trump From The 2024 Ballot Is Underway

What's ironic to me is I've heard similar rhetoric coming from folks in Berkeley, SF and Oakland except it's all from progressives. If they had their way money would be out of politics, we would have Medicare 4 All etc. etc. Their dreams are being stopped, we're told, because of big money and corporations who pay off the politicians.

In theory you would partner up with them except #MAGA claims to be anti-socialism.

You speak the language of a world which no longer exists....the only question is how much you know about that.......my mind reading orb is non op and in the shop for repairs.

In any case you are too outside of reality to rate my time.

Admittedly I don’t speak/often understand Hawkeye but I post on a college football board that more often than not gets into politics and it is dominated by #MAGA supporters.

They strongly dislike/hate RINOs and establishment politicians. They also hate socialists and communists (aka liberals/Democrats - although some make an exception for socialist Tulsi Gabbard because she’s now anti-woke).

To them, if Trump doesn’t win this election the country is through and the socialists have won.

The RINO establishment tried to sabotage Trump and Maga candidates every step of the way. They are disliked for good reason besides them being almost as worthless as the democrats.

Four more years of the radical left running wild with the dementia puppet in the white house would be very bad for the country.

Trying to sabotage Trump now would be the dumbest move ever. And I wouldn't put it past them, they are that stupid.

It seems that most on the right these days are RINOs. True Republicans are rare. MAGATs, QAnon, conspiracists, white nationalists, evangelicals, on and on

Here's the irony of the RINO claim (which today simply means disagreeing with Trump in any way). Trump was a Democrat and yes he's now a Republican but he's running on a more populist platform. The RINO here in many ways is Trump. For those who maybe tired of the traditional Republican platform, Trump's policies appeal to them. But one didn't suddenly become a RINO for supporting the same policies Republicans have supported for decades.

What also is left out here is Trump has backed some awful candidates. People like Hershel Walker and Dr. Oz were horrible. Simply saying #MAGA on the campaign trail doesn't make them good candidates. There's a Bernie element involved here. You can have a good number of really passionate supporters, but to win Senate seats and national elections you need more than your base. Bernie didn't have that and neither does #MAGA.

Evangelicals in recent decades have been a big part of the Republican base. I'm generalizing here a bit but up until Trump the Republican Base consisted of largely your more economic conservatives/free market types (your college educated management types aka Country Club Republicans) and your social conservatives. (You go back to the '70's and '80's and you can included the Cold War warriors)

The Democratic base, i'm generalizing a bit here as well, up until Trump consisted largely of labor, minorities, women and academic types.

Now we're seeing a slight realignment which according to polls shows more minorities leaning Republican and more educated whites (especially suburban women) leaning Democratic.

The free markets/pro immigration Republican Party of Reagan is but a shell of its former self today. On one hand political parties aren't static and times change, and with that so do the policies people support. As a Reagan Republican I hate what I'm seeing. I understand that globalization is far from perfect and while it helps the country on the whole there are people left behind. That said, it doesn't mean we should abandon it though that's where we are headed with both parties sadly.

They're trying to save your chances of ever being taken seriously again. You're too stupid to see that.

If we wish to acknowledge General Dwight D. Eisenhower as a true Republican leader,

than we have to acknowledge Trump and his trumpanzees as the RINOs.

I explained a long time ago why the CIA/FBI Jan 6 operation was branded an insurrection.

And a long time ago, everybody laughed at you.
And we still do. Why? Because you're a radical, extreme MAGA moron with zero credibility.

As I see it, only a couple on the right from this forum are true Republicans. You being one.

Most of the rest are as how I described them. Christian right, MAGATs, conspiracists, white nationalists.

POLITICS EXCLUSIVE: The RINO Plan To Ban Trump From The 2024 Ballot Is Underway

Republican Representative Mike Gallagher, who represents the 8th Congressional district of Wisconsin, announced earlier this year that he would be retiring from the House of Representatives after serving his current term in Office.

On February 10th, 2024, Gallagher made the public announcement that he would not seek re-election to his position in 2024, further diminishing the slim majority Republicans currently hold in the House of Representatives.

Gallagher joins the ranks of 14 other House Republicans who have also announced that they will not seek re-election heading into 2024. That list includes,

Debbie Lesko (AZ-8)
Kay Granger (TX-12)
Brad Wenstrup (OH-2)
Michael Burgess (TX-26)
Patrick McHenry (NC-10)
Drew Ferguson (GA-3)
Doug Lamborn (CO-5)
Larry Bucshon (IN-8)
Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-3)
Greg Pence (IN-6)
Jeff Duncan (SC-3)
Matt Rosendale (MT-2)
Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-5)

Yesterday Rep. Gallagher announced that he will be retiring from his position in the House earlier than expected, stating that he would officially resign his seat on April 19th, 2024. This places Gallagher on a list of several other Republican officials who have resigned from their positions in the House since the Republican takeover of the chamber in 2022.
