The Rich/Poor Disparity Myth

You made an ignorant and erroneous statement in a (miserably-failing) attempt to justify right/white wing superiority philosophy, but it went over like a fart in church. Republican hate doesn't sell here. It gets laughed at. But that's okay; we all need a little comic relief now and then.

So you're a racist as well. Nice.

You don't need to be a member of a political party to realize the left is ruining this great nation.

Well, you DO need some common sense and a willingness to read and observe something other than News for Dumb FUX in order to realize that the wholesale hijacking of the Republican Party by Koch Industries has had an effect on their agenda. ;)

Finding out that new confection is really a turd covered with sugar must be a nasty experience.

The truth hurts.

Thanks for demonstrating that so beautifully.

I don't know what it's like in your universe but here we pay to have garbage picked up. Furthermore, even if I did carry to the landfill I'd still have to pay.

So with or without the garbageman, the garbage gets taken care of. That is not the same with a surgeon. See how that works?

Who was the working class person who gave Bill Gates his ideas?

Who were the people who produce his product for him now?

Who are the people that handle most customers at a bank? Tellers.

Who are the ones who drill for the oil and work in the refinery, drive the truck hauling the gas to you and work in the Gas-n-go?

Who are the people who make all the stuff you buy in wal mart? Workers mostly low paid chinese and indonesiona.

Who are the prople who dig the coal to power around 1/2 of the US electric plants?

Who prepares and serves you food in restaurants?

Who raises and prepares the food you buy in a grocery? Who do you contact with in the grocery? The CEO?

BTW Gates pretty much just reverse engineered CPM.

Not necessarily. If the neurosurgeon refused to take out a tumor, the patient and his family and friends might suffer but it wouldn't have much impact on society at large. If I and my neighbors refused to haul garbage to a landfill because we already paid for someone else to do it, the entire street would suffer the consequences, especially if those consequences were a proliferation of disease-carrying vermin.

No one is suggesting that you can or should eliminate economic inequity but Christ Dixie, you want to throw the baby out with the bath water. I still reserve the right to fight for the fair share of what I've produced. Somehow according to your twisted logic that makes me a communist. Just because the top 1% has been goobling up all the pie doesn't mean I have to lay down and take it cause it's "always been that way."

I used to hear the same stupid shit when I worked quality control in production. People would fight tooth claw and nail on needed process changes using the flawed argument of "We've always done it this way."

You are somehow thinking that we can do something different than humans are inclined to do as a part of being humans. I don't know what part of "Human Nature" you have determined is stubborn refusal to change, but humans behave the way they do for some very valid reasons. You can't change a human's nature through governmental force, and still say that men are free.

The 1% is not gobbling up all the pie. You have been brainwashed by a mantra and meme, repeated constantly until it has burned itself into your brain as a "truth" and you're incapable of recognizing any reasonable evidence to the contrary. Regardless of what you can do, there will still be a 1%. It doesn't matter how you use government to force your ideology on society, there will forever be a 1%. In your model, the 1% not only control the wealth and get the largest slice of the pie, they also control the government apparatus of power in charge and set the laws. You, as a peasant, have absolutely no say, no power and no representation politically. If you attempt to complain by revolt, you end up in a mass grave. Generations of your family will have to die and give their lives for the off-chance you'll again be free people.

Dixie Lou is among the many people who call themselves 'conservative' who must resort to the extreme polarized argument that they are just fighting extremism. But Dixie Lou's problem is no one on the left is calling for extremism.

He is fighting for what conservatism always fights for...

Q: What is conservatism?
A: Conservatism is the domination of society by an aristocracy.

When you understand this and view their words, ask the question; will this lead to some form of an aristocracy?

The answer is always YES...

Liberalism is trust of the people, tempered by prudence; conservatism, distrust of people, tempered by fear.
William E. Gladstone

Why are we pretending that the American tradition of equality, passed down from our (imperfect on this themselves) Founders, ever meant that some people aren't better looking than others??? (though of course this is extremely subjective).

Star gazer are you mentally handicapped??

Aristocracy (Greek ἀριστοκρατία aristokratía, from ἄριστος aristos "excellent," and κράτος kratos "power") is a form of government in which a few elite citizens rule.[1] The term derives from the Greek aristokratia, meaning "rule of the best".[2] In origin in Ancient Greece, it was conceived of as rule by the best qualified citizens, and contrasted with monarchy. In later times, aristocracy was usually seen as rule by a privileged group (the aristocratic class), and contrasted with democracy.[1]

It is actually YOU and Liberals who seek an aristocracy, a ruling class to supposedly preside over wealth redistribution, and a caste system governed by liberal elites. The aristocrats will tell us who gets what, the kind of light bulbs we can use, what businesses can create jobs, etc. Liberals do NOT trust the people, especially the free capitalist people. You have no faith that people can rise from poverty to immeasurable success without help from the aristocrats. When American businesses are failing and collapsing under the weight of financial burdens heaped on them by the aristocrats, you cry... Let them eat cake!

You can just about count on a hard core liberal to accuse conservatives of the very thing they are most guilty of themselves. This is a prime example.

Our founding fathers created a mechanism to prevent an aristocracy, which had been the dominate form of rule through most of the history. It was called GOVERNMENT. A democratically elected representative government, of the people, by the people and for the people.

They were the most liberal thinkers of their day.

Exactly, which is why your outrageous and extremist claims of an aristocratic government are pure lunacy.

Thanks for proving that yourself!
