EV's on average take 2.5 times the copper an ICE vehicle does. They require a near infinite amount more lithium. Then there's cobalt, and other rare earth metals that are required in far larger quantities than with ICE vehicles.
Yet, even as these EV's require these materials to be made, the Greentards refuse to allow environmentally safe mining of them. Instead, they rely on Third World shitholes and bad actor dictatorships to produce them almost with out regard to pollution or exploitation of workers, children, and societies.
For example, a handful of ultra-radical Leftists are fighting the opening of the, potentially, largest copper mine on the planet in Arizona. The protesters are the usual bunch of retards on the radical Left that have fought any use of land in the Southwest US for decades. Their current whiney excuse is the usual, complete bullshit, "sacred ground" nonsense from the few Native Americans in the group--the exact same Native Americans who have been making a good living protesting every other use of land for nearly 40 years.
The reality of EV's is they are a pollution nightmare on a global scale. The radical Left doesn't give a shit because it isn't happening in their backyard and the pseudo-scientists they use to further their agenda are ignoring this is happening. It won't stop them from forcing EV's on the population however--at least until they become so impractical and despised that society revolts against them.
