The Proud Boys jury got it right on Jan. 6 seditious conspiracy

"It was Trump who spoke at that morning’s rally on the Ellipse, stoking anger with outrageous and disproven lies about how the election had supposedly been “stolen” from him. It was Trump who claimed, falsely, that then-Vice President Mike Pence had the authority to overturn Biden’s victory. It was Trump who sent the crowd — by then, an angry mob — off toward the Capitol. And it was Trump who watched television coverage for hours, making no attempt to quell the violence, as the insurrectionists overran police lines, brutally attacked officers, smashed their way into the citadel of American democracy, and menaced members of Congress and his own loyal vice president.

The attack was already planned, which has been proven, they weren’t waiting for Trump to send them.

Again it’s been proven in court that those planning the attack rallied the crowd, not Trump.

Trump was as clueless as anyone about what was going to happen. His rally was used by the attackers to get more bodies to go with them and again, you can go through the court documents of those convicted and see all the evidence for yourself

Not true. Trump was planning it in December.

So Trump passed out the zip ties and other things the attackers were carrying?

If you want to hate Trump that’s fine and you have plenty of legitimate things to justify that without having to make things up.

Not a single person convicted of this has said they did it because of Trump, the main guys have confessed that they had planned it by themselves.

He told a visibly armed mob to march to the Capitol.

Read the transcript of his speech where he says he knows people are going to march over to the capitol and will peacefully protest.

You can look it up in less than a minute. How is that inciting a riot?

“I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”

Those are his exact words

You are wrong.

Not only did trump rile up his minions with his speech at the elipse, but he failed to call of his thugs for 3 hours.

"At least six of the 170 people charged in connection with the Capitol siege have tried to shift at least some of the blame onto Trump as they defend themselves in court or in the court of public opinion.

Other defendants to take this route include Jacob Chansley, who donned a horned headdress and face paint during the attack, and Dominic Pezzola, a member of the Proud Boys right-wing extremist group who is accused of shattering a window in the Capitol with a stolen police shield so rioters could enter.

“The boss of the country said, ‘People of the country, come on down, let people know what you think,’” Pezzola’s defense lawyer, Michael Scibetta, told Reuters. “The logical thinking was, ‘He invited us down.’"

Never once did Trump encourage violence.

Have you ever been to a pep rally in high school? Do you think they are encouraging their fans to beat up the other team?

1. Yes did: Trump's quote: "you have so show strength".
2. Once the nutbags were in the capitol, trump riled them up by sicking them on Pence for failing to steal the election.
3. Although he could have, trump failed to call of his thugs for 3 hours. He just sat, watching the violence in the dining room. This was in spite of people begging trump to make a statement to end it.

These facts are undeniable.

Correct. Trump never denied it.

How was Trump supposed to call it off?

Do you somehow think the rioters we’re watching television while smashing stuff up?

How are you equating showing strength with violence?

Every president in our history has used that term.

So why did Trump wait three hours to call the insurrectionist mob off?
