The problem of evil

I did not backtrack. I think the words function largely the same in this case. Your parsing is noted.

Ahhh, now YOU are moving the goalposts about. LOL.

Seems like you want a guarantee of justice. Funny right after you just decreed no such guarantee can be had for fairness. Strange word games you play.

So because humans invented courts you think the universe has a justice system?

Your reasoning, such as it is, befuddles me.
If you want to believe the two separate words justice and fairness mean exactly and precisely the same thing and do not have individual shades of meaning, that's your choice.

Fairness can occur in crime. That's what mobs do. They coordinate their thievery and violence.

But it's not justice.

Why do you insist on changing the words I use and adding in extra things that I never said?

I think they are largely the same in this particular instance. It is both fair and just for Stalin to be roasting in Hell right now. Is there some condition under which it would be UNFAIR but just? Or UNJUST but fair?

If you can imagine how that would work please explain it. How can Hitler's Hot Corpse roasting in hell not be both just and fair?

Except in this case I disagree. But please mischaracterize my position some more. It really turns me on.

But you get upset when evil people like Stalin die without justice. That sounds unfair. So it sounds to me like you DO expect parts of life to be fair.

How can this be just but unfair?

And we are back to the personal posts. Obviously I wouldn't care if my spouse were violently murdered. I'm pure evil. I'm an atheist. I would think of it as nothing.

Now can we get back to the topic? Or will you simply continue attacking me personally?
his anti-fairness only comes in when the little people complaining about elitist scams.

he's all for bankers being made whole after their nefarious schemes.

that's fair to cypress.

People with limited intellect such as a cognitive disorder, can't see the nuance. It's like asking a blind man to see. They can't do it. It's beyond their capability.

What's interesting to me is finding the edges: How far can they see? What are the limits of their understanding? Can they discuss a wide range of topics with insight or simply cut'n'paste answers they Googled? Can they sincerely admit error? Do they repeat mistakes even when corrected and admit to the correction?
