Trump takes war on 'fake news' to UK – and tells towering, easily debunked lies

Standing next to May, Trump opened the event by saying the interview he had given to the British tabloid newspaper the Sun, in which he criticised May’s handling of Brexit and threatened to kill a prospective US-British trade deal, was “fake news”.

Trump had done so, and the Sun had audio tape to prove it. But for the president, when he uses the term “fake news”, it does not only mean news whose accuracy he questions; it also means any news that is negative for him.

I don't know if I'm in the mainstream or the minority- but having the entire world knowing, with proof, that the president of the United States is an outright liar makes me very, very uncomfortable.

If you bothered to comprehend the words in front of you, monkey, you would see that the issue is not with ME knowing that Trump is a liar- the issue is that the entire WORLD now knows this, with incontestible proof.

That was a ' policy ' lie- the sort that our ' leaders ' emit when they are in a hole. Not that Drone Man was anything other than a black humanitarian and a good orator. Yes we can't.

Trump's lies are a different category. The term is ' inveterate '. He lies as a matter of course. He lies into microphone A and then tells a contradictory lie into microphone B. Perhaps he's not even aware of his own schizophrenic contradictions- until some lackey whispers in his ear and causes him to pedal his unicycle backwards.

I assume presidents are consummate liars. The problem with this liar is he is not consummate, he is as unskilled at it as he is profligate. That’s why he is always caught.
