Or you would use pretty much the same line that was so effective against you in an attempt to "get back" at somebody who clearly held an upper hand.
LOL. I rest my case. My original post was a factual statement re: Oprah's comment about "the One" , and that it referred to the black struggle for civil rights. You couldn't just agree or disagree with that statement, you immediately launched an insult. Maybe your last remark above should have been revised to "somebody who clearly held the lower hand" because with a few keystrokes you put yourself in the ranks of those who have no arrows in their quiver left except cheap shots.
In the world where he holds some credibility among the left, which is the reality in which we live.
I'm sure Farrakhan holds credibility with some 20 thousand Nation of Islam members. That's why they're called "followers". However, 20 thousand people, all of whom may or may not vote, are not representative of "the left". Furthermore, you ignored Farrakhan's quote starting "Sen. Obama is not the Messiah for sure...". Why?
Yes, you just showed your ignorance for everybody to see, that was my point.
After reading this forum for six months, I have a clear idea of who is or isn't ignorant, and it's not based on partisan politics. I also see that you unleash your sarcasm overwhelmingly on liberals, especially those who go toe to toe with you on the issues, while you mostly ignore and sometimes defend the egregious lies from fringe RWs. Frankly, I'd rather stand with the politically-savvy, well-spoken, "ignorant" liberals on this forum, than with the fearful, rumor-mongering conservatives running around screeching "the sky is falling! the sky is falling!" because they detest the president and his policies
First, my comments in the past six months about Obama have not always "dripped with scorn" that is just a reading comprehension issue, you don't understand the difference between a subject and predicate.
I don't feel any scorn towards him, only for his worshipers.
I've read your posts on Obama and stand by my comments. If liberals used your argument to explain their scorn of bush, you'd laugh them off the board because you know it would be a lie.
Now my remarks about people who are willing to do or say anything at all, even contradict previous remarks about Bush and his gaffes, in order to protect their Dear Leader from criticism (like you have displayed here), are definitely filled with scorn. Just like my remarks about people who were willing to do the same for Bush are also filled with scorn.
Clearly you've chosen to ignore my many posts detailing all the ways I've been disappointed in Obama so far. However, I will defend him against the stupid lies, misinformation and rumor that RWs like you are so eager to promote. How many threads have been dedicated to crap regarding Obama's birthplace, Obama's so-called terrorist ties, Obama's support of "death panels", and the most ignorant of all, Obama's leading the country into socialism/communism?
Now, you've gone and done it again. You filled your post with assumption, generalized with a stereotype you expect me to fit, and simply made yourself appear a political child with your lack of knowledge.
Project much? I've based my conclusion solely on the comments that you post. I've also noticed how many other people are questioning your recent comments, which leads me to believe you took a more moderate position in the past.
You're doing well in this thread! Keep it up!
Right back atcha, bro.
