The plot thickens...will Faux News be next?

The man likes to make money and is very good at it. He has done so for such a long time because of his integrity. That means that he deserves the benefit of doubt. I'll let this thing run its course while you 'tards cry and scream. A month from now the truth will come out, but by then most of you will have had your heads so full of shit that there won't be any room for reality. That is all.

So now you have psychic powers? What will the lottery numbers be in all 50 states on August 11?

It looks to me that once Murdock found out about the situation he dealt with it swiftly and decisively, and let the ax fly and started heads rolling. Imagine where we'd be if, say, our federal legislatures dealt with rouge agencies under their control in this manner. We wouldn't have a $14 trillion national debt, be importing 60% of our oil, be taxing our corporations out of the country and be reeling under the biggest housing crisis in US history.

Don't be so bloody naive, DY. Once he found out?????? You have to be joking. Not only has he known about it for literally years but he has, by conscious avoidance, encouraged it to happen. (bit like your mate Rumps felt)
Now the Sun and the Times are embroiled and, according to those 'in the know' there is shed loads more to be exposed.
Now, sir, instead of trying to make a case against those who rightly call for his total removal from the UK, you should be looking at the NYT, WSJ and Fox. Its a pound to a penny that at this very moment, management of those companies are destroying evidence that would get them hung if it got out. All records of those three organisations should be immediately impounded cos you can bet your yank arse that Obama has been hacked. Even you, with your extreme anti Obama views must prefer fairness to foxness.

Dumb Yankee assures us that things are going on behind the scenes...and that a month from now, the truth will come out.

Whatever that means.

In the meantime, watch the defenders of Murdoch's empire dance.

I beg to differ. He had no integrity in OZ. He had no integrity in the UK and sure as anything any integrity he had in the US is fast distancing itself from him.
The man is an exploiter, a manipulator, a liar and a cheat. And YOU and those like you are going to let him get away with it.
Oh, but didnt you cream your jeans at the shit you hung on Clinton? Two faced??? You can watch yourself coming back.

You mean in your opinion. But his success speaks otherwise.

Of course, now you'll say that all those folks watching, listening, and reading his junk just aren't as smart as you.

I do not express opinions. I give you facts.

To some he is little less than the devil incarnate, to others, the most progressive mover-and-shaker in the media business. Whatever the case, as head of a global broadcasting empire worth £30bn, Rupert Murdoch continues to provoke strong emotions.

No-one who saw Melvyn Bragg's dramatic interview with Dennis Potter in 1994 will ever forget it. Potter, who was terminally ill with cancer, yet had lost none of his waspish wit, mused on his life, his work...and his illness.
"I call my cancer Rupert," he told Bragg. "Because that man Murdoch is the one who, if I had the time (I've got too much writing to do)... I would shoot the bugger if I could.

"There is no one person more responsible for the pollution of what was already a fairly polluted press."

He is as ambitious as ever, still planning to expand his business, News Corporation (News Corp), and intent on establishing his children as worthy successors to their old man.

From Page Three through the Simpsons and BSkyB to Twentieth Century Fox and digital television, Murdoch has created a personal media empire before which even Citizen Kane would tremble.

But, his many detractors would say, Murdoch's success has resulted in the dumbing-down of the media, with quality entertainment and journalism replaced by mindless vulgarity.

'Wheeler-dealer'

Beyond this, they mutter darkly about his emergence as a voracious political wheeler-dealer.

Keith Rupert Murdoch was born in Australia in 1931. His father, Sir Keith, was a regional newspaper magnate, based in Melbourne, and the family enjoyed considerable wealth.

Even as a child, Murdoch knew his own mind. He was, his mother recalls, "not the sort of person who liked playing in a team".

I'm rather sick of snobs who tell us they're bad papers.

Murdoch lambasts his critics
Groomed by his father, young Rupert was educated at Oxford, where he supported the Labour Party. But, aged just 22, Sir Keith died and Murdoch returned to Australia to take charge of the family business.

"My father left me with a clear sense that the media was something different," Murdoch recently told one interviewer.

Taking charge, not of his father's more prestigious titles, but of the Adelaide News, a loss making newspaper based in the provinces, Rupert Murdoch began his spectacular rise.

'Sleaze'

Soon he had expanded his legacy into a nation-wide business, encompassing newspapers, magazines and television stations.

He also found time to found Australia's first national newspaper, the Australian.

Even then, he was accused of peddling sleaze. He responded with typical directness.

"I'm rather sick of snobs who tell us they're bad papers, snobs who only read papers that no-one else wants," he said

Facts? LOL Its an opinion piece from a less successful competitor. Sour grapes.

They knew this was happening four years ago.

"...Mushrooming allegations of immoral and criminal behavior at the paper — including bribing police officers for information, hacking into the voice mail of murdered schoolgirls’ families and targeting the phones of the relatives of soldiers killed in Afghanistan and the victims of the London transit attacks..."

The paper has acknowledged hacking into the messages of politicians, celebrities and royal aides, but maintained for years the transgressions were confined to a few rogue staff. A reporter and a private investigator working for the paper were jailed for hacking in 2007.

Murdoch? Integrity?

I'm embarrassed for you.

You have no idea what's happening behind the scenes. All you have is what the MSM and some liberal bloggers feed you.

Apparently you haven't been paying attention. News of the World committed a series of crimes. That's an established fact. So what does that have to do with Fox News? A lot! Are you familiar with the "Good Character" clause required by FCC licensing? If the crimes committed by the management of "News of the World" reach up into senior management of News Corp then Murdoch has a hell of a problem on his hand. Murdoch has wielded his power and influence ruthlessly and that explains why the main stream news has circled the wagons around Fox News when their abuses have been publicly exposed. This has the potential to change everything. It's like the rats fleeing a sinking ship. All it would take is for one member of the upper management of News Corp or one of Murdoch's family members to be involved in the News of the World scandal and Murdoch's enemies and opponents, both commercial and political, will be all over it like a fly on stink and then your Messiah has a very big problem on his hands due to the "Good Character Clause" of FCC licensure. Would it mean the end of Faux News. Probably not but it would mean that the political and commercial opponents of Murdoch who have feared him far to much to cross him won't think twice about doing so and then Faux News will see a level of scrutiny that have never, ever had to deal with in their history. Why do you think Murdoch personally went to London and quickly shut down News of the World? This won't kill Faux News but if the investigation does turn out that senior members of news corp were either complicit in the crimes committed by News of the World or were aware of those crimes and did not report them, then I promise you that after the public fall out Faux News will never be the same.

You may think as you wish. I am powerless to stop you. American deliberate stupidity has got you where you are now. Shattered credibility, as popular as a fart in a phone box and an economy that you are doing your dambdest to bring tumbling round your own stupid ears.

I guess Al Capone had less successful competitors too. Doubtless you would have been airbrushing out his scar if you could have! You are not stupid really. Why do you want everyone to think you are?

Don't see any facts here, just accusations and what-ifs.
