The People's Seat...

Elections are governed by state law and the Florida Supreme Court order should have been followed.

Bush v. Gore is a fatally flawed opinion, but Gore would have lost under the recount procedures set forth by the Florida Supreme Court in any event. However, had Florida law provided the robust recount procedures afforded under Minnesota law, Bush would never have been president.

^lol^

i was right, you're a hack

good for dems, bad for repubs :pke:

You have no idea what you are talking about. You have less of an idea of what I am talking about. Just stop.

LOL...yeah you are coming off as the expert~~~in your own mind only dork face.

The legal argument favors the interpretation that Kirk can no longer vote as the Senator from Mass; he's a toothless figurehead. The only one who can cast a vote for the state of Mass for that seat is Brown as of tomorrow. The democrats might try all kinds shenanigans to delay his being seated...but Kirk IS, metaphorically speaking, toast!

Your stupid comparison and whine about Franken is pointless, ridiculous and shows that you are an idgit.

I'll try to be helpful. Here are a few unsolicited words of advice: Don't believe everything that you read on right-wing or left-wing blogs. Some of the stuff that they write is not true. Just because it appears on Flopping Aces doesn't make it so.

And I'll leave it at that.

And set yourself up for more "baby" jokes using the stupid picture from SNL, associating the rest of your party with childlike "revenge" exacted for no realistic reason.

And you fault Coleman for doing what so many fault Gore for not doing. The reality is that the seat was contested, this one isn't. The barrier is non-existent and the Democrats will look like children throwing fits if they reacted that way.

Of course 15 days is fine. But if they hold out for too long they'll lose even more seats. People are sick of this type of BS.

I hope the Democrates try it.
It will probably be the final nail in that coffin.

So you are stating that what flopping aces wrote, regarding the legal argument surrounding Kirk's ability to vote after tomorrow, is wrong and not factual? Please do commit yourself to a definite answer here...please.

It takes at least 15 days for the Secretary of the Commonwealth to certify the election results. Federal law requires localities to wait at least 10 days for military and overseas ballots to come in, as all absentee ballots postmarked by today must be counted. Once those 10 days have elapsed, localities have five days to report the final results to the Secretary.

Coakley's already conceded.....

Did anyone catch Olbermans hysterical hissy fit regarding Brown?

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/vi...own_is_a_racist_teabagging_ex-nude_model.html

I wonder what will happen now that Brown has won.... Olbermans panties will be all bunched up for months. How is that idiot on the air?

I did and I think he's a huge tool. He hurts dems way more than he helps. He's an idiot of the highest order and his second idiot in command is Rachael "I'm so gay nothing else" Maddows.

I'm always fascinated at how people in this country continually vote against their best interest.
I'm always fascinated by the attempt to ascertain my interests through apparent psychic powers by those who barely grip reality by the merest of margins. Finger-tippers need not apply when writing about my interests.
