President Obama advances several GOP additions to health care reform bill
March 2
Tuesday, the White House released a letter to congressional leadership from President Barack Obama which points to several GOP suggestions from last week’s health care reform summit targeted at improving the existing health care reform legislation already passed by the House and the Senate.
The four ideas mentioned by the President in the letter are to have
...random undercover investigations to help reduce fraud,
...to fund states for demonstrations of alternatives to resolving medical malpractice disputes,
...to increase Medicaid reimbursements to doctors,
...and to expand Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).
These various ideas were discussed last week by a number of the Republican Senators in attendance last week, including Senator Tom Coburn of Oklahoma, Senator Charles Grassley of Iowa, and Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming.
Now, peckerhead...how did any of these additions to the HC bill
'water it down' in any way....?
There wasn't any other GOP provisions in the ball at all....
or are you just blowing smoke out of ass again?
Bravo, just when I think you can't get any dumber, you surpass yourself!
You provide FACT that Obama was accepting of GOP suggestions, then you turn around and say that there were no GOP provisions (without giving any proof of that). Do you realize that you're contradicting yourself, you Bravo bumpkin?
But here's the final result:
The House voted 219 to 212 to approve the measure, with every Republican voting no.

No single payer, and no public option....of which the GOP was dead fast against single payer.....87% of the GOP at one point

And the GOP hypocrisy regarding the public option was well documented.

Keep it coming, Bravo...you're a guilty pleasure!
