Trump never missed an opportunity to slam Hillary and in this instance he was going after her over the ‘30,000 missing emails’ and brought Putin in using the tongue in cheek bit.
If Trump was in communication with Putin [unless they were using ham radio, we’d know it by now, btw] why would he risk exposing their conspiracy on national television? Even Trump wouldn’t be joking about that.
The video is actually exculpatory in that sense.
