The New Neocon Dimwit Party

More than a century ago, tariffs were an important source of U.S. government revenue. Taxing goods at the border or putting excise taxes on specific goods produced in specific places, is the easiest way to raise funds. Today, it is only younger, less-developed nations who rely on tariff revenue (or sometimes its inverse, export taxes) as a way to fund the government. Developed nations use taxes that take serious administrative capacity, like personal and corporate income taxes, sales taxes, value-added taxes, and payroll deductions.

Trump seized on tariffs because they were perfectly suited to his personality. He could bully nations with them. If Canada says they will do something he does not like, he says I will jack up their tariffs. That is why tariffs are in the hands on Congress, not the president. But Trump seized that power and the Republican Congress genuflected to him, ceding their powers. Tariffs, as Trump uses them, are the tools of a lifetime, childish bully. Can we survive this madman?

globalist hogwash and stupidity.

you are dumb.

... You're a dumbfuck? :dunno:
Precisely.

Trumpette posts like a frustrated 12 year boy. Unable to articulate any sort of point. Sticking his nose into conversations he has no knowledge or understanding of.

He's really a very sad little troll.
