The constitution is the supreme law of the land. If a law is unconstitutional, it is the duty of the attorney general NOT to enforce it. The supreme court is not the protector of the constitution, it is the protector of last resort. The DOMA would have been stricken down long-ago, however, the Republican congress stripped all federal courts of jurisdiction with regard to the law because they knew that what they were doing was against the constitution and they didn't give a shit. All of the people who voted for DOMA, all of the presidents who upheld it, and all of the attorney generals who upheld the law during the past 15 years should be tried for abandoning their constitutional duty, and they should all die in prison.

The AG does't pick and choose which laws he thinks ar unconstitutional and neither does the President. They both take an oath to uphold the laws of the land.

the balance of power in the constitution disagrees. Now, if 'the people' demand that he should enforce it and he doesn't, they can impeach him, but it is completely within the power of the executive branch to not enforce a law they deem unconstitutional.

I see and I agree. Holder's handling of "Fast and Furious" should be more than enough to impeach him.
