Appears you missed one of the key points of the article, "Years of U.S. Miscalculations," Biden has only been in charge seven months, not "years"

And to fault Biden for the fall of Afghanistan is dishonest, everyone knows what is occurring in Afghanistan was inevitable, even Trump recognized it by attempting to negotiate directly with the Taliban without the Afghan Government present, if anything, at least Biden had the courage to accept the inevitable knowing the short term political consequences
