Hey, I didn't come up with those words of wisdom but I can say that if you've never been there you'll never know.

I recall shopping for head phones many years ago. The sales guy asked me what price range I was considering and I replied I was interested in trying the various makes/models. His advice was don't try any that were out of my price range as every cheaper set would be a disappointment. He was right. After trying the top of the line sets I didn't like any of the cheaper sets and couldn't afford the expensive set so I ended up not buying any that day. :(
