He is about 60 and has been out of business for 15 years. Any organization is long gone. He was a gun runner. He took over Russian planes when Russia broke up. They are long gone. The arms trade has changed in a decade and a half. Why do you assume he will return to that business?

What I'm taking from this is that you don't like Griner, didn't think she should be released before Whelan, and that she's lying about having pain from all her sports injuries. Amirite?

I may be wrong but believe that people who are super tall are prone to conditions and injuries because of this. Thinking of Marfan's syndrome, for example.

If you use a drug outside of the law you are abusing that drug. When a drug is prescribed to you you aren't allowed to use it EXCEPT in compliance with the law. She broke the law with her use of hashish so that my barfly friend is drug abuse.

Why else would she use a less effective medication for "chronic" pain (yeah, she trains a lot) than what's available that would be perfectly legal in most any country , and is in Russia?

No I don't know Griner but neither do you. You don't know if she lied to her doctors to obtain drugs or not. Neither do I. I can tell you lying to doctors to obtain euphoric pain relievers is VERY VERY commonplace. I can tell you just because she has a letter from Arizona for hashish means NOTHING in Russia. I said that releasing her or Whelan for Bout was a very BAD deal and there is no way Griner should have come home before Griner. (Correction: Whelan)
