The media war for Moldova's soul

Should American NGOs jump into Moldova's media space like British organizations already have?

On one hand, their support could be a game-changer: strengthening independent journalism, boosting media literacy, and protecting outlets from political pressure.
But there's a catch: Moldova is already a battleground for competing narratives from international donors. Would another player just make the information chaos even worse?

The real question is: can these initiatives really keep journalists independent, or do they just become a new tool for foreign political interests?

What do you think? Is more international support a step toward free speech... or a step toward losing sovereignty?
