The Media Lost Their Minds Over The New Florida Gun Law. But Violent Crime Dropped.

Florida's crime rate, per your claims, is most likely due to gangs and drugs.........i'll grant you that on the social groups because of location and population demographics...........

in 2023, gun crimes in Mass. rose slightly, but still much lower than national average. what's difficult to ascertain is the rate of other violent crimes, mainly due to many law enforcement agencies not providing crime statistics or new methods of collecting data by the FBI not being compiled yet.

overall, while MA has one of the lowest crime rates in the nation, it is extremely hypothetical to declare that this is so due to strict gun control laws, especially because we all know that criminals don't follow the law.

Common sense alone proves you are incorrect:

Common sense alone proves you are incorrect:

no offense intended, but you've never exhibited actual common sense, especially when it comes to Constitutional matters or the rights of individuals. So you'll have to forgive me for not accepting your attempt at common sense, especially when it's always nonsensical.

Boston does not have gangs and drugs? England does not have gangs and drugs? Japan does not have gangs and drugs?

Making guns less available to criminals appears to lower gun crimes... And other crimes. In Japan an illegal gun would cost tens of thousands of dollars, so would not be used in street crime.

is it as big as that in Florida?

You cannot claim that gun laws reduce access to guns by criminals, yet in the same breath claim that there's an iron pipeline to feed guns to criminals. can you not see the hypocrisy associated with that?

Not my attempt, gave you four actual studies, and their are plenty more, proving a link between the two, even though common sense tells you the same, having a gun around increases the use of the gun

Canada, England, and Japan are bigger than Florida. Massachusetts is smaller than Florida. All except Canada are denser than Florida, so would be expected to have higher murder rates. Even Canada has more people in urban areas, so would be expected to have a higher murder rate.

You can reduce access to guns by criminals. I see no hypocrisy in doing so.

throwing 100 different ingredients in to a recipe is not the most conducive to illustrate a point. this is what you are doing. This is what leftists do when they can't specifically articulate an exact fact that points to their theory. they try to mix it up with everything under the sun and say it's true, but it isn't.

how? if reality dictates the criminals don't follow the laws, how do you limit access to guns for criminals, then blame an iron pipeline when it fails?

So you admit that Republicans are doing something wrong to get such horrible results, but cannot think what it is?

The issue is making guns available without limits. Most countries prosecute the people who sell illegal guns, but for the most part America does not.

Not one of your seriously flawed "studies" draws a distinction between armed law abiding citizens, and armed criminals, which is moronic.

You hit the nail squarely on the head with that statement .
