Leftists dusted off their pro-Christianity caps this week to blast former President Donald Trump for promoting something that all people used to stand for.

On Tuesday, Trump endorsed the “God Bless the USA” edition of the Bible. Partnering with Lee Greenwood, the singer of “God Bless the USA,” it is printed in the same kind of binding as the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance.

Trump explains in his video why he is endorsing this particular edition: “Religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing from this country, and I truly believe that we have to bring them back, and we have to bring them back fast.”

“This Bible is a reminder that the biggest thing we have to bring back to make America great again is our religion.”

The book’s website clarified that it is “not owned, managed or controlled by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization, CIC Ventures LLC or any of their respective principals or affiliates” and is “not political and has nothing to do with any political campaign.”

Regardless, leftist activists and supporters have hopped on the media bandwagon in calling Trump hypocritical, sacreligious, and a profiteer, all while posing as allies of Christianity.

He argued that conservative Christians “ought to be defrocked if they would even try and act like this is nothing but what it is, and that’s a hustle.”

“For those in the evangelical community to not come out and say ‘wait a minute, during Holy Week, that’s a step too far,’ makes us wonder where their commitment really is.”

Yeah, although passé, he’s right up there with Soros as a right wing bogeymen, also helps that he is black, although you don’t see much of him these days, who knows, could be seeing Rev Wright or Bill Ayers any day now, your comrades are desperate
