The left in a nutshell= all about the free stuff.

None of that is true. No one is denied access. It is expected you should pay for this according to your ability to pay, not get it for "free." Social Security was supposed to be a supplemental income in retirement. It wasn't intended as your sole means of income upon retirement. If you are relying on it alone, you are fool. It was also not supposed to be a Ponzi scheme like it's become since LBJ first started dipping into it to pay for other social welfare programs.

In other words:

Deaf people have to pay for the expensive interpreters. If they can't afford them, too bad.
Blind people have to pay for the services. If they can't afford them, too bad.
People in wheelchairs have to pay towards ramps and accesses.if they can't afford them, too bad.
Mothers and their babies in poverty who can barely pay for the housing and food are not our problem. It's their fault for not getting a good job.
Everyone has to pay for the highways/roads (toll roads). If they cannot, too bad. Stay home.
Everyone has to pay the police and the firefighters. If they cannot, too bad. Let the houses burn.
The disabled has to be able-bodied to work. If not, too bad.

Nobody is against helping the disabled or feeding starving babies. One of the first things I said was that I was all for certain social safety nets to varying degrees.

Then what exactly is your problem?

Maybe;

1) Not having enough workers

2) Incentivising harming of the collective, or at least turning a blind eye to it

3) Shitty forging, people are encouraged to be fragile and useless

4) The Victim Culture Cult who drives this are destroying America, and must be ended

Let's extend your reasoning to people that are too stupid to be able to make change...

People all have different abilities. So? I guess you're one of those think that life leaves nothing to chance.

The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) is one of those Leftist ideas that sounds good until you see it in practice. There are law firms that make millions bilking people for not meeting some obscure ADA requirement. How much of everybody's money are you willing to spend to accommodate someone one time a year because they are a little inconvenienced?

As for fire and police, that depends on where you live. You may well have a choice about whether you want to pay for those or not.

There have always been jobs the disabled could do. From Roman times well into the 18th century, treadle cranes were operated by the blind.

They were the squirrels in the wheel moving the crane up and down. The job was considered semi-skilled since coordination was required between the treadle men and the person directing the crane's operation.

Mothers that have children they can't afford? That's on them. Nobody forced them to get pregnant unless you want to claim immaculate conception. Stop sleeping with the trailer park...

To expect the government to take from everyone to give to those in tragic or disadvantaged states is egregious. It shouldn't be the government's business to try and level the playing field. Deal with life and make the best of the hand you were dealt.

Point blank........if you take away the ability to hand out free goodies THERE IS NO D PARTY. Lets be honest,....handing out freebies is their entire platform in TOTAL. There is nothing else.

We are a team. We agreed that she would have the career and that I would be the stay at home parent before we got married. I had already by 1986 seen though to decide that devoting myself to a career was likely to be a bad use of my life, and my wife was not emotionally suited to be a full time parent, and she is a lifelong work-a-holic.

If this is a problem for you then go fuck yourself, our arrangement is none of your business.

All those words and not a straight answer. Dismissed.

It is clear you do not want to help people.

In other words, zero number of people.

Do you think I, as a deaf person, should pay for the expensive interpreters? If I can't afford them, it's my fault?

I think you had more than ample opportunity in your lifetime to learn sign language and read lips among other things. I don't see being deaf as a particular handicap to doing a good many jobs either. It's your fault if you didn't take it upon yourself to learn what you needed to get into a position in life you were comfortable with.
I have to live with my faults, big and small, just as you do.

That's the point of the Rush song (with lyrics shown). The relevant part below:

There are those who think that they've been dealt a losing hand
The cards were stacked against them ---
They were born in lotus-land
All preordained
A prisoner in chains
A victim of venomous fate
Kicked in the face
You can't pray for a place
In heaven's unearthly estate

Play the hand you were dealt, don't blame the cards for losing.

Wow so much ignorance in one post. I already know sign language. And reading lips is not effective. People have different manners of speech and some have beards. So that's out. Jobs do not require interpreters except for meetings.

Anyway, you have a big advantage over me. Let's say you need to go see a doctor. You do not need help to see and talk to a doctor. I do. Thus the need for interpreter. If I was in a serious emergency that I have to go to the ER, the interpreters are essential to communicate to the doctors.

I have to live with my faults, big and small, just as you do.

Thank you Captain Obvious.
