the last republican president

Wait till trumpf finds out he said that-it will be implosion #2 for this week.... Nothing like an early start on the implosions...

could be. I'd be much more happy with candidates like Trump ( except NOT Trump himself) who are populists
Let the neocons go to the Democrats and Clinton..

The problem is all the newer voters who think "pursuit of happiness" is the same as government guarantees of free stuff.
Even sanders is pushing that agenda, instead of GDP growth/less regs.

We need to find someway to scale back the ever mushrooming size of government to the point the feds
would go back to a more sane approach of federalism

I believe we need serious entitlement reform, but the problem is we have two parties that stake out positions that are not acceptable, keep entitlements as they are v. eliminate all entitlements. Neither is acceptable. We also seriously need better and more effective regulation of big business, this topic goes to the democrats who are trying, the Republicans simply don't want corporations regulated. Finally social liberalism is essential to freedom, we must not regulate based on religious morals. We need a live and let live government allowing same sex marriage, homosexuality, certain drug use, and allowing individuals to control their own reproduction.

Id love to have a candidate who would push this stuff, but it wont be a Republican, and the Democrats will only softly touch on it, not push it.

Sadly ours is a spoils system, like our political system-winners take all.......

If/when the axe comes out does anyone doubt who they are gonna be looking @?? One thing we can count on, it won't be themselves........

I am not talking about compromise, I am talking about a third way. If I could pick and chose I would take the Democrats social policy, the Republicans desire to spend less and a third choice for foreign affairs and the way we go about social services. We need to improve Obamacare, but the way both sides run to their corners for protection prevents it.

Most Americans just have two choices..

Will you be voting third party??

we're going to have to solve entitlement reform, or it's going to run us over very soon..

What type of regs do you want? there have been over 600 MAJOR regs, under Obama.
How about we legislate a few instead?

I don't buy into the "its going to run over us" propaganda, but for the health of our country we need to address it. The Republican legislature has refused to do anything.
