The last good day

Well, um, not sure if you remember this, but there was this crazy bad economic crash going on in 2008-09...ya know, when Obama took office? Nearly a million people were losing their jobs every month...which - and this is a nutty coincidence - is when most people also went on food stamps.

Since that time, the net # has decreased.

How's that? Easy enough to understand...or still a mystery for you?

Booooosssshhhhhhh!

Have you talked to anyone who had their insurance premiums jacked by the ACA?

Have you talked to the 20 million people who were able to get insurance for the first time under ACA?

Today, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services released an extensive compilation of state-level data illustrating the substantial improvements in health care for all Americans over the last six years. The data show that the uninsured rate in West Virginia has fallen by 59 percent since the Affordable Care Act (ACA) was enacted in 2010, translating into 156,000 West Virginians gaining coverage. And, in addition to residents who would otherwise be uninsured, hundreds of thousands more West Virginians with employer, Medicaid, individual market, or Medicare coverage have also benefited from new protections as a result of the law.

Well, we're here.

Obama has plenty of flaws. But he's a thoughtful and intelligent leader - someone who thinks carefully when confronted with a crisis or new information, and who is measured in his response. He understands the role.

We're trading that for volatility & unpredictability. Someone who reacts first, and then considers the implications (if he even gets around the the latter). We keep getting told that Trump's erratic nature doesn't matter; it's about the policies. I think that really ignores one of the key roles of President...perhaps the most important role. To be that calm center when the storm is raging - to be the steady voice when the crisis hits.

That's out. Even Trump voters have expressed that they have no idea what's going to happen now, but they "hope for the best." What a crazy roll of the dice for a country like America.

Obama sucks. Trump may not be good either but just die. Slip in the shower, choke on vomit, I don't care just leave us.

I knew some Trumpy would scramble to find some example of something.

Sorry, doc - anyone objective will tell you that Obama is extremely measured in what he says, and thinks about things very carefully. Whether you disagree w/ him or not.

Trump is not. Trump is the exact opposite. Get ready for a daily dose of that.

No, it's anyone that puckers up to his ass will tell you.

The record high 46.7 million on food stamps came three years after Obama took office and after the implementation of things that were supposed to keep unemployment below 8%. During that time, claims were being made by Democrats that jobs were being created yet the number on food stamps was still going up.

There is no mystery that when unemployment up under Bush, food stamp use went up. That's how things work. They mystery is when claims that unemployment is going down yet food stamp use is increasing. There is no mystery as to why you supported Obama and believe something like that can happen. Pucker up.

We get it...you can fend for yourself...just shut the fuck up already.

Two things: 1) I'll stop saying something about it when I'm no longer one of them forced to support someone else that won't fend for themselves and 2) I'll shut the fuck when you're man enough to shut me up.

#1 isn't going to happen as long as you bleeding hearts think it's OK to take from the valuable people of society in order to hand the not so valuable something for nothing. #2 isn't going to happen ever.

Like domer, you make up things. You and domer have turned putting dog shit on someone's porch in the broad daylight in a box with a no uncertain terms note on it to it was a little old lady with a poodle and I had to sneak up to do it.

As far as being a pussy, I didn't think you were man enough to back up the demand to shut the fuck up.
