The land of Dixie...can it possibly get any worse than this?

1) Your article didn't state that her kids were native American and Italian. That said, given your lack of clairity on the schools policy, somehow I doubt you even know whether or not native americans/asians/hispanics etc... are included.

2) Clearly the article was meant to inflame the issue as 'racist'. The problem for people like you is the 'racism' of the policy is likely due to affirmative action. They put the policy in place so the minority would have a chance to be officers.

3) Clearly you and the original article didn't mention that it was a rotation of races. You wanted it to appear that only whites could ever be President. You took it out of context to play the constantly used race card. It is race baiting at its finest. Too bad you got embarrassed once the truth started coming out.

yep

You simpleton.... it is not segregation.... they are deliberately trying to make sure the composition of the student leadership has members that are BOTH white and black.

I understand what they were trying to do, you simpleton....

That does not change that who could run for what positions was segregated.

again moron... you clearly do NOT understand. It was not an attempt at segregation. It was an attempt at forced integration of the leadership of the student body via affirmative action.

I have a few questions that I would want answered concerning this school's policies.

#1 - If you alternate years of who gets to run for what office, based on black students and white students, what happens to any students who do not fit in those handy ethnic slots? When does an asian kid get to run? When does an hispanic kid get to run?

#2 - If the answer to the above question is "Never", then there is a problem. If the answer is "Anytime", does the race that is designated for that year get to run the next year is an asian-american or hispanic-american gets elected this year?

#3 - Its been a long time since I was in high school, and my kids never seemed interested in politics. But I seem to recall the SGA president typically being a senior. So wouldn't half the kids of either race be excluded because they would be seniors at the wrong time?

Its segregation plain and simple.....
Its is discrimination, plain and simple...as is ALL LEFT WING SCHEMES of affirmative action....

Thats what we've been pointing out to you peckerheads for freakin' years now.....

I think the policy on the whole is moronic at best. It is a feeble attempt at affirmative action. My guess to your first question would be that when it was enacted 30 years ago, it was a school comprised of just black and white students. Regardless, the policy should be (as it now has been) abolished.

Just looked something up that said Mississippi is something like 98% either white or black.

Your posts prove your bigotry towards the South.

How so?

Personally I am a product of the south, my father and grandparents were from Montgomery, Alabama. I went to Auburn.

My mother is from Tampa, her parents Georgia.

So? You assumed this was an act of racism, and of course it wasn't.
