The James scandal just keeps on giving

Seems Letitia James had her grandniece, Nakia Thompson, living with her three children, in James' house in Norfolk VA for the last five (5) years. All innocuous right? Well...

Seems Nakia Tompson is a wanted fugitive in Forsyth County N. Carolina for violating her probation and fleeing the state. Thompson has a litany of prior felonies and misdemeanors on her record.

I guess with James, family are above the law too... Nothing like the attorney general of New York harboring a wanted felon...

You're making excuses.
No, I'm making a clearly obvious fact obvious.

I don't think anyone "defends" James so much as understanding what this is actually about.

Anyone with a brain that functions knows what this is about.
It’s beginning to look like she didn’t buy the house as a secondary residence nor even as rental property.
She bought it to harbor a fugitive. Wow!
The bank fraud allegation may be the least of her concerns.

That's interesting when you actually look at the documents, it shows you to be lying. She has no felonies and only 3 misdemeanors.

“Ms. Thompson was sentenced to probation for misdemeanor convictions for assault and battery and trespassing, and has willfully avoided probation supervision,” Keith Acree from the North Carolina Department of Corrections told the Daily Mail.

“An absconder is considered a fugitive. Thompson faces arrest if she is located in North Carolina,” Acree added, saying that her crimes were considered low-level and thus, “non-extraditable.”

Why do you feel the need to lie about actual facts so much T.A?

Nakia Thompson has been charged with multiple felonies. Based on court records and reports, she faced several felony charges in Virginia and North Carolina, including:
  • Grand larceny (a felony) in August 2019 in Chesapeake, Virginia, to which she pleaded guilty and received two years of probation.
  • Petit larceny (classified as a felony in this case), also from the 2019 incident, with a guilty plea and the same sentence.
  • Possession of burglary tools (a felony) in the same 2019 case, though this charge was later dropped.
  • Malicious conduct by a prisoner (a felony) from a 2011 arrest in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, along with related charges like assault on a government official and resisting a public officer.
She also has a history of other convictions, such as contributing to the delinquency of a minor and abuse of a child, and is currently wanted as an absconder in North Carolina for violating probation terms.
