“The inflation from tariffs that economists feared begins to emerge”

And that's only with the minimalist tariffs we have now.

OMG!!! BUT TRUMP!!!!

I could be wrong,

You're always wrong halfwit.

but I think ultimately TACO will keep chickening out on his threats of massive tariffs and a global trade war.

Thinks negotiating is chickening out. This is how fucking stupid these leftist halfwits really are.

YES only time will tell. As it is now Trump has only put a few tariffs on and the price of the things they effect have started going up.
They have to work through the supply chain system and when they do prices will go up even more .
And IF Trump doesn't flip flop on his putting the rest of them on AUG first those too will have to work through the supply chain and that is when prices will really go up.
Again it is the CONSUMER that ends up paying most of the tariffs , Exporters just pass the majority of them on and the American consumer will pay higher prices for just about everything they buy.
I don't understand why you stupid MAGAS can't see this.

“WASHINGTON (AP) — Inflation rose last month to its highest level since February as President Donald Trump’s sweeping tariffs push up the cost of a range of goods, including furniture, clothing, and large appliances. “

“The uptick in inflation was driven by a range of higher prices. Grocery prices increased 0.3%. Appliance prices jumped for the third straight month. Toys, clothes, audio equipment, shoes, and sporting goods all got more expensive, and are all heavily imported.”

“You are starting to see scattered bits of the tariff inflation regime filter in,” said Eric Winograd, chief economist at asset management firm AllianceBernstein, who added that the cost of long-lasting goods rose last month, compared with a year ago, for the first time in about three years.

“Some companies have said they have or plan to raise prices as a result of the tariffs, including Walmart, the world’s largest retailer. Automaker Mitsubishi said last month that it was lifting prices by an average of 2.1% in response to the duties, and Nike has said it would implement “surgical” price hikes to offset tariff costs.”

“But many companies have been able to postpone or avoid price increases, after building up their stockpiles of goods this spring to get ahead of the duties.”

“Trump has insisted repeatedly that there is no inflation.”

Seeing they’ll never see it in any of their media, setting the record straight for the Red Hat Club
