The inevitable Biden tax increase

No.

I think the wealthy should pay the maximum rate and the lower one's income is, the lower their tax rate should be.

It only makes sense to tax people at the rate they can afford.

The more money middle and working class people have to spend on things they need, the better it is for businesses and the economy.

AKA the ripple effect.

The wealthy don't come anywhere near spending all the money they have at their disposal and so, most of their money never makes it back into the economy.

Let them pay the highest tax rate and use that money to fund those things that help the average working folks who are the backbone of the economy and society.

The rich will still be rich and still have more than they can ever spend.

How is this fair? Shouldn't everyone be taxed at the same rate, and thus have an equal amount of skin in the game?

I’ll spend every cent of mine with a small, local business.

Where’s your bitch about Trump’s $2.9 trillion?

Actually I bitched about the amount that went to gender studies in Afghanistan. Similarly, around 9% of this ‘Covid relief’ bill is going to be spent on workers who struggled through this fiasco. The rest is a junk bailout to blue states that couldn’t walk and chew gum at the same time.

Trump's tax cut to corporations and billionaires was a huge addition to the debt and the dangerous wealth gap got much worse.

Wrong, lol. The 9% $1,400 (down from the $2,000 Biden promised) payout is also going to illegals and people in jail, as well as people who don't work and didn't file taxes. Workers are just part of the melting pot.

No.

To under tax the wealthy just to conform to some cock-eyed version of "fairness" or over tax the working class for the same questionable reason, is morally wrong.

If one person is so wealthy he/she could pay 10x their current tax rate and still never suffer the slightest decrease in lifestyle or ability to support themselves in comfort and luxury or even spend what they have left over in their lifetimes.... while the other person has to worry and fret over how they'll pay for some emergency that comes up and scrimp to pay the bills every month, it should be obvious to anyone with a conscience that taxing the wealthy person more is the only morally correct thing to do.

Governing is not only about number and dollars.

There has to be a moral component that addresses human compassion in a democracy.

When you factor compassion and morality out of the equation, we are on our way to becoming North Korea.

The wealthy are undertaxed because money=power. They use that power to get tax breaks slipped into huge bills. They buy politicians. They cut the IRS budget many times making their tax cheating safer. It is amazing that they convinced people that the estate tax is bad.
Many super successful corporations pay no taxes or get money back. The people do not notice.

6% is for getting the vaccines distributed properly. The $1400 is for more middle class people.

Out of $2.9 trillion, gender studies was the only complaint?

How about you, as a non-one percenter, getting fucked?

Math is tough for you idiots. Your $600 came earlier this year.

Math is tough for Joe Biden, Ossof and Warnock, DEMOCRAT.

The usurper did indeed promise $2000 checks IMMEDIATELY, and no, he did not stipulate it would minus $600 already paid out.

In fact, he went out of his way to make it seem as if a new, full payment was coming.

Now the people he bribed want their money.

Skip to 0:48 and hear the promise the usurper broke to the voters he bribed.

Loser.

:rofl2:

but they pay a smaller percentage of their income than the middle class.

and that is consistent because they also got a smaller percentage tax cut than the middle class and certainly a smaller percentage than the poorest tax payers who were given a 100% tax cut......
