ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Illinois' lieutenant governor is urging people to mail tea bags to two electric utilities to protest rate increases - an idea that leaves the post office cold.

The truth is that while Americans squabble and peck away at each other like chickens, the wolves are making off with our children and their future.

They don't listen to us because they don't have to. We are an easily controlled people. They don't even need an iron-fist to control Americans, they have TV, and talk-radio, and pundits, and what passes as MSM.

The hole in the concept of democracy is MONEY and he who has it controls the democracy. That hole has exploded and we have morphed into a plutocracy. NEITHER political party gives a rat's ass about you or me.

That's the bare-faced truth.

It's much easier to act like chickens and tear each other apart .. but it damn sure isn't more intelligent.
